I had to switch the small USB dongles as well, as each headset is paired with its own USB dongle.

#Plantronics bt600 usb adapter driver software
Uninstalling the Spokes software and rebooting is sufficient to get either one of the headsets working with the same PC. Plantronics customer support don't work over the weekend, but I needed to get back on line. It looks like you have everything taken care of but if something ever happens and support is not able to fix the problem, please continue to post in the community or reach out to me so that I can resolve the issue :) Sorry that you had to go through all of that just to make things work properly. Sorry for my late response, I just saw this post. If you are on a call, this can be problematic.Īnyways, the issue was the Spokes software. When Audio Sensing is on, it looks to the computer for the link instead of the headset. Apparently there are two profiles.the one for the adapter and one for the headset. When Audio Sensing was enabled, it worked but only as long as the audio was coming from the computer. So something in the Spokes software was caching settings that were supposed to be deleted after the firmware update. After that, I reinstalled the software and now it works as it did originally and just as it should. After updating firmware on both the headset and the BT300, confirming that it worked EXACTLY as it should on another computer and telling the guy that I knew it wasn't the adapter, we uninstalled the Spokes software and I ran a registry clean with CCleaner and Eusing and then rebooted. I'll be checking on this thread to see if something interesting comes up! In our case, we thought it to be something to do with the fact that we had 4 of them running in a small area. That ended up working, but the issue occured again later. In the end we ended up sending it back and getting a new one. Unfortunately, no luck for me on that one. And I'm sure the plantronics tech told you, as he told us, that the sets are plug and play, which would make you think you could just wipe out the driver, reconnect it, and it would work. I can't begin to tell you how many different ways we tried to fix it, including removing drivers, adding plantronics monitoring software, redoing all the voip settings, etc. One time, my base was ringing to somebody else's headset. The weird thing about it is that I would steal one of my colleagues' headsets, attach it to my computer, and it would work great (until it decided to disassociate again)! Said colleague would come back, use the headset, and it would work on their computer. Not really a solution, but we use plantronic headsets as well and there came a point when my computer would randomly reject the base. The Plantronics support guy said you don't need the Spokes software to make the adapter work, just to monitor it and adjust settings. So I know it's an issue with my computer, not the adapter.

When I plug this into a different computer with the Spokes software, etc on it, it works fine.

The guy from Plantronics, Joey, was most patient and tried to be helpful but didn't have any ideas outside of what I had already tried.
#Plantronics bt600 usb adapter driver driver
I know it's a driver issue but aren't sure where to look or what to do. It used to show, in the picture, that where is says USB Audio as Plantronics BT300.

I can see in the Spokes software it is paired but I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it in device manager (the BT300) but what's weird is that it shows as connected before it even finishes installing the driver. The second BT300 I have since given to a friend. My existing BT300 will pair the device but I can't get sound through it. Well, the problems all began after I plugged a second BT300 into my computer. I have a BT300 I use to pair my headsets to my computer. I just got off the phone with Plantronics support, who was, as always, very nice and helpful except they were not able to fix my problem.
